THE DENTISTS

Dr. Samuel Ustayev, or 'Dr. Sam' grew up in Newton, MA and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he graduated with honors. He was then accepted into the prestigious Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated magna cum laude, receiving his DMD degree. His passion and interest in aesthetic and implant dentistry led him to pursue a general practice residency (GPR) at the Veteran Affairs of New York Hospital in Brooklyn, New York where he worked closely with our nation's veterans. 

During dental school, Dr. Ustayev participated in global mission trips, including one to Poptun, Guatemala, where he provided dental education and services for the underserved population. He is a big believer in helping those in need and has gained valuable knowledge through his experiences.

Dr. Ustayev understands that each patient is unique and requires individualized dental care. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, educate you with all options available and personalize a treatment plan that fits your needs. He strives to be on the cutting edge of dentistry and spends hundreds of hours on continuing education year after year.  Dr. Ustayev is a fellow of the Implant Pathways Fellowship Program where he spent a week in Tempe, Arizona performing dental implant surgeries. In 2025 he completed an intensive two-day course in Full Mouth Rehabilitation with renowned clinicians Drs. Bill Strupp and Michael Brumm. In 2026 he completed a two day course in Aesthetic dentistry with world renowned cosmetic dentist Dr. Michael Apa. Drawing on his expertise in dental implants and natural porcelain restorations, Dr. Ustayev skillfully restores full dentitions—whether the patient is missing all teeth, has severely compromised teeth, or outdated dental work. Dr. Ustayev has a special appreciation for helping patients with bruxism and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD/ TMJ) and continues to stay up to date on new and current treatment modalities. 

Dr. Ustayev is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. He is a certified provider of Invisalign Clear Aligner Therapy and of porcelain CEREC restorations. Dr. Ustayev is also fluent in Russian and proficient in Spanish.

Dr. Azadeh Nemati-Rad (“Dr. Rad”) is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and went on to complete the accelerated DMD program at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Rad moved to Boston to complete a one year General Practice Residency (GPR) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she received advanced training in comprehensive dentistry, complex treatment planning, and caring for patients with special needs.

As a trusted general dentist, Dr. Rad focuses on building lasting relationships with her patients. She believes the best dental care starts with listening—taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns, goals, and comfort level. From preventive care and routine cleanings to more advanced and comprehensive dental treatments, she creates customized treatment plans designed to support long-term oral health and confident, natural-looking smiles.
